jQuery and WordPress

Copy/pasted some cool, jQuery-laden javascript code into a WordPress post, then had the browser complain at you because it didn’t know what $ is?

Yeah, me too.

But don’t panic about having to install jQuery somewhere, because it’s already there. It’s running in a non-conflict mode, so all you have to do is use ‘jQuery’ instead of ‘$’. Simples.
